Lorna Boyle is an independent jewellery designer and maker from Dublin, Ireland, who lives and works in London. Lorna’s designs are inspired by the decay of our urban landscape. She searches for the beauty in the mundane, focusing especially on cracks in pavements and walls, recreating the negative spaces to make precious what is usually overlooked or unseen.
She combines electroforming with 3D printing and found objects to create unique and beautiful wearable rings, brooches, bangles and neck-pieces.
Lorna graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2014 with First Class Honours in Craft Design, Jewellery and Metalwork. She also received the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland’s Future Makers Innovation Award for her degree show collection and is currently studying an MA in Design at Goldsmiths University.
You can shop their collections and meet them alongside 70 other independent designers and makers at our next event at Shoreditch town hall.
